Find Us at the Pierce County Fair in Ellsworth

The Pierce County Fair is one of those summer traditions that makes our small corner of Wisconsin feel like home. From the food and rides to animals, music, and community booths, there’s something for everyone. This year, Options for Women – River Falls will be there too, and we’d love for you to stop by and say hi.

You’ll find the fair in Ellsworth from August 13–16, with plenty of time to walk through the grounds, grab your favorite fair snack, and explore the different exhibits and vendors. In the middle of all the fun, our table is a quiet little reminder that you’re not alone with your questions about life, relationships, pregnancy, or sexual health.

If you’ve ever seen our name around town or online and wondered what we actually do, the fair is a great, low‑pressure way to find out. You don’t have to make an appointment or share your whole story. You can simply stop by, say hello, and pick up information about our free and confidential services.

At Options for Women – River Falls, we’re a free and confidential sexual health clinic with a caring team of nurses and staff. Our services include:

  • Lab‑quality pregnancy testing and ultrasounds
  • STD/STI testing, information, and limited treatment
  • Information and support as you consider pregnancy, abortion, parenting, and adoption
  • Free classes on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and more
  • Ongoing programs like Earn While You Learn that offer practical help, baby supplies, and encouragement

Our goal at the fair is not to overwhelm you with information. It’s to put faces to the name, answer simple questions, and help you know where to turn if you or someone you care about ever needs support.

You might be a high school or college student exploring the fair with friends. You might be a young couple thinking about your future. You might be a parent or grandparent who wants to know where to send a loved one who’s going through a hard time. Whoever you are, you’re welcome at our table.

If you’re feeling shy, it’s okay to just grab a brochure or a small free item while they last and keep walking. You can always reach out later when you’re ready. Knowing we’re close by in River Falls, in a space that feels more like a home than a hospital, can make it easier to take that first step when you need to talk.

So while you’re enjoying the rides, animals, and music at the Pierce County Fair this year, keep an eye out for Options for Women – River Falls. We’re there because we care about this community and the people in it—including you.

We hope to see you in Ellsworth from August 13–16. And whether we meet you at the fair or you connect with us later, remember: you don’t have to go through any of this alone.
